Threaded Rod. It is the original pulpstone, still used. The studs are threaded into segment. Knobbed end of stud are embedded in the concrete.

Named after the inventor Walter R. Beth. The pulpstone is designed for higher load operations and PGW. The studs are threaded as TR but are longer and attached to reinforcing rings with a plate and nut torqued to spec's. Holds segments in tension.
